KS3 Computing Teacher/ICT Support 

We are looking for a highly qualified candidate with great passionate, energy, and drive to teach Computing to KS3 students and help support/develop pupils learning experience. We are looking for a dynamic individual who about teaching engaging lessons that help students understand the importance of ICT and the positive impact it can have throughout their life.

This role will involve:
– Teaching KS3 Computing
– Planning and resourcing lessons and activities to help students progress
– Working collaboratively with departmental colleagues
– Use of student data and assessment to inform teaching and learning

The role is a wide-ranging one. Alongside the teaching you will also be required to support hardware, software and online platforms from multiple vendors, and technologies from photocopiers to virtual Cloud environments. The candidate will be required to provide immediate on hand support to staff when required. There will be opportunities to work on longer term projects to investigate and upgrade the School’s equipment, infrastructure and processes.

As an ICT Support of the school, you may also be required to help out in Computing classes giving support with students’ learning and helping with IT problems. This could be a great opportunity for an aspiring Computing teacher to get an understanding of what the career entails as well as becoming familiar with the curriculum.
