Enrichment Charter:<\/strong>
At Iqra Academy our aim is to inspire young people to develop their skills, talents and character through a wide range of activities, to use their curiosity and creativity to find new ways of achieving their potential and to have the confidence, drive and resilience to follow their dreams.<\/p>

We want every Iqra Academy student to have the opportunity to:
1. Experience the arts and culture <\/strong><\/em>
2. Experience live sporting events <\/strong><\/em>
3. Visit British places\/regions outside their local community <\/strong><\/em>
4. Experience cultures and countries outside the UK <\/strong><\/em>
5. Be a good citizen in their local community <\/strong><\/em>
6. Gain valuable work experience <\/strong><\/em>
7. Develop their character <\/strong><\/em>
8. Make a positive contribution to society <\/strong><\/em>
9. Develop lifelong interests and skills for life <\/strong><\/em>
10. Learn outside the classroom<\/strong><\/em><\/p>

The Schools \u2018Enrichment Charter\u2019 supports the School values of Integrity, Quality, Respect and Aspiration, in providing opportunities in Community work, Careers, CCF, Drama, Arts, Music and Sports. This has resulted in a happier, healthier and successful School.<\/p>

Student participation numbers in Enrichment Activities for 2024\/25 are as follows;
Volunteer work \u2013 94 \u2013 100%; Fundraising \u2013 94 \u2013 100%; Cross Country \u2013 94 \u2013 100% Football Academy \u2013 42 \u2013 45%; Poetry Club \u2013 28 \u2013 30%; Art Club \u2013 28 \u2013 30%; Cricket Academy \u2013 26 \u2013 28%; Duke of Edinburgh Award \u2013 22 \u2013 23%; Drama Club \u2013 16 \u2013 17%; Debating Society \u2013 16 \u2013 17%; Choir – 16 \u2013 17%; Leadership Team \u2013 14 \u2013 15%; Creative Writing Club \u2013 14\u2013 15%; Book Club \u2013 14 \u2013 15%.<\/p>

Careers education, information, advice and guidance (CEIAG)<\/strong><\/em> is an essential part of the support we offer to students at Iqra Academy. it is vital that we support them to develop the knowledge and skills they need to make informed choices for their future. As a result, the careers programme, led by our designated Careers Officer, has a whole school remit designed to complement the rest of the school curriculum and to provide weekly guest speakers, work experience opportunities and visits to employer\u2019s careers events. 100% of Students leaving Iqra Academy in 2024 went on to study A\u2019 Levels in TDET and other City Schools.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
